2022–2023
I got to be part of a cool project to bring in-console GTA content into the browser space, to better support players when they are away from the console. Working with a design lead and UXR, I came up with the architecture of the interface and interaction of a platform that allowed over 18 million players to create license plates on the browser.
Learned to use technical limitations for good:
- Browser-centric > impact interface
- Asset hosting constraints > guided content catering and interface
- Limited console API access > leaned on UX copywriting and UI hierarchy (frontend display)
Museum of Arts and Design
2021–2022
At Godfrey Dadich Partners, I co-created a digital exhibition site for MAD with the Design Director. The Burke Prize is a biannual contemporary art prize honoring new artists working with expanded media. The 2021 award, normally in person, had to be online due to COVID.
Flexed my content architecture and digital storytelling skills:
- Designed an information system for 16 unique mixed medium artists working in glass, fiber, clay, metal, wood, video, and audio.
- Defined ambiguous mixed media UI components with equal parts accessibility and storytelling.
- Directly influenced the visual and language of the art direction, introduced hand-made elements like graphics and typography to mimic the spirit of organic craft
